Suzanne is the founder of Wellmother and as well as teaching on all the courses she also works with individual clients, both male and female. She now lives in France but returns to the UK a couple of times a year. If you want more regular sessions it would be best to see someone else. Suzanne also offers Private or Group Zoom consultations. Although she works with clients at all stages of their lives, she specialises in working with women’s health from preconception through to the menopause and beyond, as well as integrating partners and babies through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
She works with both massage and shiatsu, or a combination of the two, depending on your preference.
For more information about Suzanne please visit the "Suzanne Yates" page under "Practitioners" in the top menu.

Using massage, shiatsu and aromatherapy to support women and their families to have a happy and natural pregnancy. As well as offering massage and shiatsu treatments, I will help support the whole pregnancy journey with an individually created unique range of natural aromatherapy products with tailored advise on how to use them at home; this could include a personalised massage blend, a tummy balm, a sore aching back balm, an inhaler for morning sickness or nappy rash gel for when baby arrives ❤️.
“I spent two wonderful hours each week with Fen during my pregnancy, during which she treated me to a perfectly tailored session of massage, shiatsu and aromatherapy. Her treatments and magic touch helped me relax and work through the physical niggles of pregnancy, and become more in tune with my body as it changed. Our sessions also played a huge part in preparation for labour. The breathing techniques and body positioning work we did together were invaluable when the big day came. Fen has a warm, calm and open approach to her sessions which ensure that both body and mind get the care and attention they need. I can't recommend Fen's pregnancy massage highly enough!” Anne, Lecturer, Researcher and new mum!

I have finished my training with Suzanne in 2004 and have been working with women for over 20 years offering Shiatsu, Shiatsu for pregnancy, Baby massage, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and more recently, Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor and bodyworker specialising in working with people suffering with known or unknown trauma (very common) issues as developmental trauma (widely common), complex trauma, transgenerational trauma, trauma caused by physical and/or sexual abuse. Experiencing trauma can be highly detrimental to one's daily life and some of the symptoms are anxiety, self-loathing, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD and OCD to name a few dis-eases. My work has a holistic and transpersonal touch to therapy, which sees problems or issues as an opportunity for self knowledge and growth.
I offer:
*Shiatsu (Therapeutic Bodywork)
*Biodynamic Cranioacral Therapy
*Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Psychosynthesis)
Shiatsu for Pregnancy and Baby Massage is not featured on my website however a session can be organised if it is requested.
I speak fluently Portuguese and Spanish.

I trained in shiatsu for pregnancy with Suzanne a few years ago and have since worked with many women supporting them through their journey through pregnancy and beyond. I have found it to be extremely rewarding working with women in pregnancy as it is obvious how beneficial any form of nurturing bodywork is for them during this transition. I am also a massage and nutritional therapist and yoga teacher and love to bring all of my skills and knowledge to a session. I find emotional support to be of particular importance and ensuring that the woman I'm working with feels totally comfortable and able to relax with me.
